John Owens brings more than 20 years of HR leadership, consulting and high technology experience. John is respected for his ability to establish close working relationships and establish trust with his clients at the employee, manager, executive and board levels.
He was instrumental in growing a medical technology company from a handful of employees in one office to a team of almost 400 employees in three locations: San Mateo, California; Ewing, New Jersey; Durham, North Carolina. Epocrates became a public company on 2/2/2011 (NASDAQ: EPOC)
John helps companies achieve scalability by establishing the needed leadership skills that are critical to an organization’s growth, with the operational task mastering skills that are needed to run the business day to day.
His approach is refreshingly unique. He incorporates a deep understanding of technology and strategy as he proposed programs and process. He is known as a person that is insightful, has strong business savvy and an excellent communicator at all levels.
John began his career in the field of Occupational Health. He developed a Bachelor of Science–Special Major program at SJSU. John holds a double major from SJSU BS in Occupational Health and Business.
